Birds In Flight

One of the things I struggle with when it comes to wildlife photography is catching birds in flight.  A Flickr contact helped me out with some tips and I also checked into this article HERE.  Definitely a good read if you’re looking to shoot anything in action.

This past Sunday I set my sites on birds, any birds.  Even the run of the mill (often overlooked) egrets and herons were fair game.  All I wanted was something flying.  I did manage to get this guy in flight, darn near close to what I had hoped to accomplish!  I’ve still got more practicing to do…but getting outside with my camera and practicing is part of the fun of wildlife photography.
