snow…

As you read this post, I should be walking around Epcot and Hollywood Studios….enjoying 60 degree weather, the lights, decorations (even  fake snow!) and being with my family.  Stay tuned for photos!

I was born and raised in south Florida.  I’ve ‘visited’ snow but have never had to live in it for any lengthy amount of time, and that’s fine by me!  I’ve heard all the stories from everyone else in my family (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles) who have lived (or still live) in Connecticut and Massachusetts…..scraping ice off your windshield, running out and getting the car started to warm it up, black ice, etc.  I do remember my parents taking my brother and I up to visit family during Christmas when we were younger.  My mother dressed us up like that kid in the movie ‘A Christmas Story’…you know the one, where he could barely move and was covered from head to toe in a snow suit.  We did get to go sledding, or tobogganing or whatever you call it when you sit on what looks like a garbage can lid and slide down a hill lol, and it’s fun….if you don’t have to stay there :)

Here’s some snow from flickr for you!
