Babies…I’m not talking the human kind of babies. We’ve had some Great Horned Owls nesting in one of the trees in our pasture and I’ve been checking on them from time to time. For about a week now I’ve heard little screeches at night coming from the direction of where the nest is. In the morning I go over and look up into the nest (usually with our binoculars or my telephoto lens) and check on them. Usually I see nothing except for one of the adults on the nest. Yesterday was a different story. There’s something white and fluffy in that nest! Because the nest is so high and deep, unless something is looking out over the nest, you can’t see anything. I’m hoping in the coming weeks to bring you some great baby photos
The weather has been pretty yucky, yesterday it was pretty gray most of the day but I did get a few shots:
