Family Portrait

We had an amazing time on our Eurotrip last month.  Eleven of us went and we were ALL FAMILY.  We had a fantastic time with eachother, and it was so wonderful to spend time with family members that I usually only get to see once a year.

Sheep

To say we saw a lot of sheep was an understatement….they were EVERYWHERE…including on the side of the road, wandering through towns like tourists, and dotting the gorgeous landscapes we passed.

Stonehenge

One of the highlights of the trip was Stonehenge.  My husband and I (and most of the family) are HUGE History Channel buffs…so to finally see this amazing icon we’ve only seen on TV was awesome.  Unfortunately you can’t walk right up to it any longer, you have to keep a distance and they’ve got signs and ropes up so you can’t get close.  Maybe they were worried about our Griswold-esque family backing into it in one of our rental cars?   It was hard to get a photo of it without anyone in the background…. there were so many people there!  I like this photo because you can only make out a couple of bodies in it.

I’m back from a HUGE vacation, the biggest and longest trip I’ve ever taken in my life and it was with 10 of my family members!  Eleven of us went to Germany, France, England and Ireland last month and it was AMAZING!  I’m still editing photos from my cousin’s wedding I shot right before we left, and haven’t even gotten to the vacation images yet…but here’s what I shot with the iphone while I was away…
