Kim Hill at Pink Ink Studios (find all of her digital goodies here) has a fantastic action if you’re

doing any kind of studio shots.  It really helps to remove all of the gray you may get

when your lights aren’t positioned properly.  It’s super simple to use…and if you

don’t get enough ‘white’ the first time, you can flatten your image and run it again.

Here it is used on one of my shots where I forgot to move the lights for my ’shorter’

subject, Tucker

I’ve added a brand new product to the shop at Pink Ink Studios today.  It’s a set of seven Lightroom 2 PRINT Templates that are sized to fit the 12″x12″ Shutterfly Album.

Please note that these are NOT develop presets.  These are to be used within the PRINT screen inside Lightroom 2.  Basic directions are included on how to install and use.  Once your templates are installed, and you’ve created your first layout….you can then print directly to your home printer from Lightroom 2 (if your home computer can print 12″ wide) or save the file as a jpg to upload to Shutterfly to create your 12″x12″ album.

I recently created my own Shutterfly Album with my May 2009 Roadtrip pictures.  I used my photoshop .psd templates and it was pretty easy.  BUT..these Lightroom 2 templates are SUPER easy and SUPER FAST!  If I would have created these instead of the .psd files I could have finished my album pages at least three times faster.  The next album, I’ll be using my Lightroom Templates!
