Thank you so much for the listing site of the Nik Silver Effects presets
Where can I get email updates for your site? I cannot find a place for it.
I’ve just downloaded 90 nik pre-sets via your site. Ta very much. I understand to install them you need to open the particular software for the pre-sets. i.e. silver efex, color efex etc. What I want to know is how to differentiate between the 90 presets as to what goes where? I tried looking on the nik site but can’t get past the first 12. Can you help?
I’m not really sure…probably the best bet is to open each individual program and just try to import them all…I think it should tell you which ones can’t go into each program and will install the proper ones and just keep trying it with every program. Unfortunately since they did away with that site (even though it is online) there’s no real directions any longer.
Your site has been a revelation! I’m just beginning to use Lightroom presets as an amateur and despite your very kind instructions, could not find the ’90 presets’ on the archived site. I found the site but not the 90. If you can give me some idea of where to look I’d sincerely appreciate your help. I will be coming back to your site often for updates as my poor brain can only absorb so much at a time! Maybe senility but whatever, thought you should know that you are amazing and the shots and ways you’ve ‘brought them to life’ are stunning. Thank you so much. Gary
I added a screen shot to the post, maybe that will help: http://heathergreenblog.com/2013/04/05/free-download-nik-silver-efex-preset/
